February 1, 2011

Enviva LP last month announced plans to construct a new 330,000-ton wood pellet manufacturing plant in North Carolina over the next 3 years, with possibility of additional plants in the near future.

This follows their recent acquisition of Piney Wood Pellets and CKS Energy Inc., on top of a major long-term wood pellet supply contract with Electrabel, subsidiary of GDF SUEZ Group, one of the largest utilities in the world.
