Marvin Yeo is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Frontier Investment and Development Partners (FIDP) – a firm set up in 2008 to focus on frontier market investments starting with Cambodia in 2008 and Mongolia and Laos thereafter.
Before starting FIDP, Marvin was a Senior Financing Specialist at the Asian Development Bank (ADB), where he was responsible for running debt syndications and the structuring and pricing of ADB’s corporate / infrastructure transactions. He was also actively involved in advising ADB’s sovereign, sub-sovereign and private sector clients on financing solutions.
Prior to the ADB , Marvin worked in London, Hong Kong and Singapore with Barclays Capital, Nomura International and Deutsche Bank where he specialized in Debt / Equity-linked Origination, Syndications and Derivatives Structuring.
Marvin has also taught post-graduate finance courses at the University of the Philippines and was an F&B entrepreneur in Singapore. He has also worked as an Industrial Engineer in Australia.
He holds an MBA from INSEAD, a B.Eng (Hons) from Monash University as well as the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
