  • GEA WESTFALIA SEPARATOR PROCESS GMBH’s Project Manager – GEA Mechanical Equipment, Mr. Alexander Piek will discuss, “Optimizing Harvesting & Processing of Algae”. Separators and decanters from GEA Westfalia Separator are used for concentrating, extracting and washing algae, and according to GEA, the harvesting and processing equipment depend not only on the capacities to be handled, but on other factors including viscosity, proportion of solids, pH-value in the fermentation broth and the cell structure of the Alga in question.

Key Pillar 3 highlights latest in Development of High Value Co-Products.

The 3rd Pillar of the 2nd Algae World Europe conference looks at the latest innovations propelling the development of high-value algae co-products including pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, nutraceuticals and even bio-coatings.
