You are correct in saying that the cultivation of Jatropha requires a ‘full maintainence package’ for you to see good returns in terms of yields. Contrary to popular opinion, Jatropha is not an easy plant to cultivate for commercial purposes.

I strongly believe that a lack of understanding and knowledge of the basic agronomics, coupled by a premature push to cultivate Jatropha might result in unproductive agriculture, and the tremendous potential of Jatropha might remain unfulfilled.
