Harburg-Freudenberger Maschinenbau GmbH is founded by J. Koeber in 1855. In 1910 the company was renamed HEB ( Harburger Eisen und Bronze Werk) after a fusion with Harburger Eisenwerke. In the 50s Krupp became the New 100% Shareholder of HEB. The Name changed from HEB to Thyssen Krupp Elastomertechnik GmbH
In spring 2005 HF became a 100 % subsidiary company of L. Posehl Group. HF has several branches all over the world like Croatia, USA, Russia, Asia, France, Brazil etc.
Over the years HF has built:
- more than 2000 expeller presses in edible oil sector and animal by-products
- more than 400 extraction plants world wide as well as complete production-plants in the edible oil industry
