D1 Williamson Magor Bio Fuel Limited is promoted jointly by D1-BP Fuel Crops Limited, UK and Williamson Magor Group in India to promote jatropha plantation in East and North East part of India for manufacture of bio diesel on a commercial scale. The company has since developed the plantation on contract farming arrangement on about 120,000 Hectares of land and expects to commence commercial production of oil from 2010.

Willamson Magor group is the largest producer of tea in India and produces about 75 million kgs of tea annually on a captive scale employing over 110,000 persons. D1-BP Fuel Crops Limited is a joint venture between D1 Oils plc and British Petroleum for development of bio fuel globally on a commercial scale.

is a Chartered Accountant and Management Accountant by education and have served about 27 years in various industries out of which last 22 years in tea plantation. He has served Williamson Magor Group in the capacity of Cost Controller for tea plantation operations. Williamson Magor is the largest tea plantation company in India and produces about 18% of country’s produce. Currently, he is the Managing Director of D1 Williamson Magor Bio Fuel Limited.
